I embark on a short tour with the flutist/vocalist David Eschmann and cellist Mathis Mayr of Canto dei Sass’, with this first stop at Munich’s Schwere Reiter. A “Volksliederclash,” we explore traditional melodies of southern Germany, Switzerland, and northern Italy with contemporary sonorities and playing techniques.
